Sunday Morning Services 9:30 a.m. – 10:45 a.m.

We have a “Blended” Worship Service

Blended worship means to weave together various styles in a service which honors God and joins the people of God together in all their diversity to glorify God. Our church is committed to including some basic elements of Reformed worship that might be considered traditional.

These are:

  • an emphasis on the relationship between God and his people as shown in a greeting from God
  • a time of confession of sin, a declaration of pardon
  • a statement of God’s will for our lives
  • a benediction
  • an emphasis on the preaching of the Word of God
  • a conviction that congregational singing is the most important kind of worship music

We incorporate more contemporary elements by:

  • using some contemporary songs and instruments
  • congregational singing using words/music projected on a screen
  • the use of praise teams
  • more variation and less formality in the services
  • pastors taking prayer requests

Sunday Evening Services 5:00 p.m. – 6:15 p.m.

An evening of Praise, Prayer and Worship

The evening service maintains the blended structure, but is generally more relaxed to accommodate more time for praise singing and prayer. Worship messages are designed to provide practical application of the Bible in our daily lives.

We encourage you to dress as you feel comfortable. We believe that members should dress based on personal preference. Worship is about honoring God and not outward appearance.

SERVICES AVAILABLE ON SUNDAY

Nursery

Children of any age are welcome to sit with families during our Sunday worship services but we offer an infants’ and toddlers’ nursery during all our worship services.

Children’s Worship

Children who are 3 years old, in preschool or in kindergarten as of September 1 are invited to leave during the morning service for a Children’s Worship time with songs, prayers, and a message targeted especially for their age group. This enables parents to enjoy the worship service and children to learn about Jesus at their level.

Sunday School/Catechism (during the school year)

Following the morning service, from 10:45-11:45 there is Sunday School for grades 1-4 and educational sessions (catechism) for grades 5-12. These classes offer youth an opportunity to develop relationships with one another while learning Christian values.
