WORSHIP
Today: This morning we will hear God speak from Zechariah 4 on the source of our strength in the face of overwhelming circumstances. In the evening Covenant will join us here for worship and we will hear God speak from Deuteronomy 5 on God’s good rhythm for life.
Notice: If you must have your cell phone with you during worship, please put it on mute.
Next Week: In the morning we will commission our discipleship workers and hear God speak from Isaiah 61. In the evening Pastor Evan Heerema will be here to preach.
Next Sunday morning at 11 AM we will be holding a training session for all those in or thinking of being a part of a praise team or the Praise Singers.
Advance Notice – The morning offering on September 12 will be for the Christian Education Ministry (CEM) of Providence church. This offering will help support families of Providence church whose children attend Christian schools. An excellent article was in August 2010 edition of The Banner, entitled, “The Case for Christian Education”. You are encouraged to read it. One sentence from that article is as follows; “This brings us back to a crucial feature of this vision of Christian education: while the decision about schooling rests with families, the project of Christian education involves an entire community”. Prayerfully consider how you can help the CEM. Thank you.
