High School Youth Group

High School Youth Group is a twice-a-month gathering for all high school students and their friends. Activities range from enjoying a meal, spending time in worship and prayer, discussing a Bible study, to playing group games, and participating in fun activities together. The meetings are typically held on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of each month (September – April), from 6:00-8:00pm, up in the Youth Attic.

Area-wide Youth Services

Once a semester, youth groups from area churches will gather to worship as one. This service is held in the Providence Youth Attic and consists of a praise band, a speaker, and a pizza dinner. Students enjoy this time to worship and reflect as a larger group and have a fun time playing in the gym after the service. High school students and their friends are welcome to join these services, even if their church is not participating.

Retreats & Events

The youth group participates in many fun activities throughout the year.  A fall retreat is usually one of the first things that kicks off the year and is good for forming new friendships that will only grow as we continue to meet. There is also a winter retreat (every other year) called Genesis that is held in Traverse City with churches from all over the State.  There are smaller events that are just as much fun and in any given year could include a road rally, beanbag toss tournament, broomball, Craig’s Cruisers, and Michigan Adventure.
